Alcazar de San Juan

Derived from Arabic, the word ‘Alcázar’
(pronounced /al-KAH-saaa(r)/) literally means
‘Fortress’. The town of Alcazar de San Juan
was founded when a group of knights of the
order of Saint John camped in and around
an abandoned Moorish ‘Alcázar’ in what is
now the province of Ciudad Real.

Famous for its Manchego windmills and picturesque
squares and churches, walking through
Alcazar de San Juan is like taking a stroll
through Don Quixote’s imagination.

The hotel is located in front of Alcázar’s
largest park that is perfectly suited to strolls
during one-to-ones. Rooms are placed
along an interior quadrangle and all guests
will have access to the indoor spa and the
outdoor swimming pool.
