Gredos

Very near the border of Salamanca and Extremadura, you will find the town of Barco de Avila, located in the province of Avila. The four-star accommodations are a 30-minute walk from the town square. Among other Roman and Arab influences, there is a small aqueduct, a castle, chapels and even an old prison, the perfect surroundings to make you feel far from the city. The hotel was built on a 15-acre piece of land in full view of the Gredos mountain range. Everywhere you look from this fine hotel you will have impressive views of nature at its best.
